End-Time Analysis: Are We Living in the Terminal Generation?
Author dissects mysteries of pre-tribulation period

LONGWOOD, FL-Are you prepared for an alternative to Dr. Tim LaHaye's Left Behind series? Are you prepared to accept the fact that we might be the terminal generation? Your wait is over. Robert L. Kramer's The Revelation and the Rapture-Are We There Yet? (paperback, 978-1-60034-857-0) offers clear scriptural statements to support its message. Contrary to what many have been taught, the Bible does not teach that the Second Coming is divided into two trips seven years apart, or that the rapture is as sudden as the blink of an eye or unobserved by the world. Nor does the Bible anywhere affirm a seven-year tribulation period. By debunking some of the errors taught by gurus of the pre-trib persuasion, Kramer seeks to present valid insights from the Scriptures that breathe new life into oft-explored themes.

Says Kramer, "It is my hope that readers will gain a clearer and saner picture of what is prophesied for the future and begin to question what is generally and popularly taught by many well-known teachers." And, unlike some of his contemporaries, he presents the whole view, spin-free: "I try to be thorough and open-minded in my study of the Scriptures, not reading into it in order to make it conform to a predetermined viewpoint." Kramer, a 30-year student of biblical prophecy, feels that pre-tribulational books glut the market. His alternative interpretation of biblical eschatology offers an exciting new perspective on these familiar themes.

Robert L. Kramer is a graduate of Moravian College and received his theological training at Evangelical Seminary in Reading, Pennsylvania, and Moravian Theological Seminary in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He has been a pastor for 45 years in the Evangelical Congregational Church and has written Sunday school lessons for the denominational Sunday school quarterly and articles for the church paper. He has held prophecy conferences in Pennsylvania and Texas.
