LONGWOOD, FL-For author Rev. Robert F. Legair, it all began with a dreamÑone that carried a powerful, important message for everyone, especially the church. With time running short, it is crucial that the church get on board with God's plan, which is to bring the light and life of Christ to the lost, writes Legair. The twenty-first-century church has become complacent and, instead of focusing on Christ-centered living, places emphasis on self-centeredness. "This book will hopefully re-ignite the believer's passion for God, the desire to join Him in His work of reconciliation, and the willingness to look beyond ourselves to see what is happening around us," says Legair.
After becoming a Christian as a child, Legair experienced a calling on his life four years later, but he never took it seriously until he attended university in Toronto. Challenged with a serious introspection of his life, he was soon reminded of his divine purpose here on earth, and he sought to fulfill it by answering the call to ministry. Legair believes readers need to take their own calling seriously too, and to do so they must take an objective look at themselves in their spiritual mirror.
Rev. Robert F. Legair, M.Div., graduated from York University in 1997 with a BA degree in political science. In 2003, he acquired a Master of Divinity degree in counseling from Tyndale Seminary. He serves at Humberlea Church of God in Etobicoke, Ontario, with his wife, Vanessa.
