LONGWOOD, FL-In his later years, author Ronald C. Ware heard the voice of God telling him to write a book about the seven thunders, the reply mentioned in Revelation chapter 10. Seven Thunders Vol. II (paperback, 978-1-60266-669-6; hardcover, 978-1-60266-670-2) is the result of his obedience to that high calling, and it contains a message for the time in which we live. Ware reveals why these things must take place in the near future. In addition, he shows others God's one plan for a refuge as revealed in the Scriptures.
"Those readers who have been born again will recognize this warning is not from me but from the Holy One who called me to be a messenger," says Ware. "I hope the reader will take the warning seriously and begin to search for the refuge God will provide."
After becoming a fisherman and spending time on the water, Ware came to realize his life was traveling a dead-end road. Remembering his religious upbringing, he began to seek answers to his problems and found them. He repented of his former life of sin and became a new person in Christ when he learned what the future would be, according to the Bible. He shares these reflections with his readers in the Seven Thunders books, issuing a warning to those who are ensnared by worldly pleasures and unwilling to search for the refuge God provides.
Ronald C. Ware was born in 1938 in the Grays Harbor area of Washington and lost his father in an accident before his fifth birthday. His mother, with five children to care for and an eldest son serving in Europe, moved from that poverty-stricken area to Everett and then to Bellingham.
