LONGWOOD, FL-William Wilson enjoyed the material benefits of the world for a long time, forgetting about God until a spiritual experience in 1986 left him enraptured with a desire to return to Him. His new book, What, Why and How? The Plan for Our Redemption ($13.99, paperback, 978-1-60266-183-7), focuses on the one spiritual road we should safely travel, which is the only one that leads us to Jesus Christ.
"Readers can gain some understanding of the reality of their lifestyles and discover the spiritual aspects of their personality, character, suffering, weakness, and behavior and the necessity for a personal relationship with God," says Wilson of his book.
After losing his worldly lifestyle, Wilson found he had an increasing desire to know more about God, so he started full-time studies at the Brisbane College of Theology. Getting a Bachelor of Theology degree was only the first in a series of steps that brought him closer to God and his own spiritual identity. Now Wilson seeks to transfer some of his knowledge to other believers grappling with worldly desires in a manner of ways. What, Why and How? will help readers recognize what is meant by their personality and character and how their spiritual identity should relate to God. The book also helps readers become conscious of the necessity of belief in GodŐs plan, study the spiritual reasons behind suffering and weakness, realize that suffering is part of GodŐs plan of redemption and sanctification, understand that we need to love God to save our soul, and know why our soul needs to be renewed by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
