Reader's Choice Awards Lineup Includes Xulon Title
The staff at Author Island was so impressed with Susan Kaye Behm's story about understanding abuse victims that they dubbed The Journey a finalist in the 2006 Reader's Choice Awards for women's fiction. The finalists, from which winners will be selected in July, include an impressive lineup that runs the genre gamut from horror to suspense and science fiction. Says Behm of her book, "If you have not been abused, you owe it to take yourself out of your sheltered life and experience the terror that over 1.5 million children in the United States go through each year. [My book] will help you to understand abuse victims and give you a new resolve to help those who have suffered abuse." |
