Stellar Reviews, PR Write-up, and Awards for Xulon Author
Whatever Xulon author Robert Hammond has been doing to promote his book, it's working. The tenacious author of Grace Period: The Awakening of Abel Adams used his pen to detail a story of one man's deliverance from a labyrinth of crime, cults, and incarceration, and to witness the triumph of truth over falsehood and rejoice in the discovery of love through the power of faith. One thing Hammond certainly is enjoying right now, aside from the power of faith, is the fruits of his labor. A slew of interviews, book signings, and critical praise were eclipsed only by a recent nod from the Indie Excellence Book Awards 2007, which placed his book as a finalist in both their "religious fiction" and "African-American fiction" categories.
Now that Hammond's demand as a writer is red-hot, several stations have been eager to book him on their show. "The Big Finale" program, hosted by Bruce Collins, sat down recently with Hammond for a chat about Abel Adams, and Collins has promised a review of his novel to AmericanChronicle.com, WorldSentinel.com, and raidersnewsnetwork.com. The interview is located at www.radiohaven.net.
Additionally, Hammond's book landed him a stellar press release and critical acclaim from Debra Gaynor of ReaderViews. The website's Tyler R. Tichelaar also sat down for an interview with Hammond to discuss Abel Adams, the Bible's influence in Western literature, reader responses, and upcoming projects. Throughout the course of the chat, Hammond revealed his plans for a Grace Period screenplay and another screenplay he is working on titled Black's Law. The full interview can be accessed at http://www.readerviews.com/InterviewHammond.html.
A currently featured book on ReaderViews.com, the book has received excellent reviews and article coverage as well as the release of a multimedia PreView (see www.readerviews.com for more information). |
