'Fascinating Story' Takes Hold of Myrtle Beach
Author Asbury H. Williams just bought himself a first-class seat on the publicity train, and it's proving to be a solid trip to the top. The author has been hard at work drumming up support for his recent release, My Visit with Jesus of Nazareth. The Myrtle Beach Herald, a local newspaper in his native South Carolina, devoted a positive quarter-page review to his book. In addition, he was interviewed on Talk Radio with former WNBC news anchor and White House reporter Steve Porter. Williams also found time to send a copy of his book to the dean of George W. Truett Seminary in Waco, Texas, the alma mater of one of his bookÕs characters. The dean had only good things to say about the book: "It is a fascinating story and well-written." |

Looks like Win, Build and Send author Bobby D. Hopper discovered the secret to success. He has racked up book signings throughout Indiana and ArizonaÑat Family Christian Stores, Hadley's Christian Bookstore (at which he set a record number of book sales for the store), Fine Print Bookstore, Barnes & Noble, The Open Door Christian Bookstore, and Amazing Grace. At the assorted ftes, Hopper reports that he "sold several copies and met lots of great people." The Banner Graphic, his hometown newspaper, ran a front-page interview with Hopper, who has exercised his public speaking chops at a number of local engagements. Says Hopper, "Praise the Lord for Xulon and their staff for making a vision come true! May we keep winning, building and sending for the kingdom of Christ!" |
