Author Books Two Signings in Hometown of Maryland
Two-time author Marvin Scott has been keeping himself busy lately with several book signings in his native Maryland. With appearances lined up for John 3:16 Christian Bookstore in Lanham and Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Bowie, the author is hard at work on promotion for both of his books, Do You Have a Loved One in Jail? and 25 Reasons Why Small Churches Aren't Growing. The author's first book focuses on the alarming number of former inmates who return to jail because they cannot manage their lives, and it offers a number of practical and workable techniques that will enable inmates to live successful lives as Christians behind bars as well as when they are released. The author's second book reveals how small things can stop church growth and informs pastors and churches of the need to put aside their hang-ups and evangelize the unchurched. Thus far, both books have received a warm reception from readers in Maryland and beyond.
