Eschatological Novel Flies off Shelves
Copies of Chronicles of Angels by D.C. Bennett went like hotcakes at a recent Barnes & Noble book signing for Charles Bennett in Fresno, California. Bennett sold 65 copies of the eschatological novel, which documents the apocalyptic battle against the forces of evil for the survival of mankind, in more than an hour, and the remaining books sold out just as fast. At another event in July, Bennett snagged a promotional appearance on KMPH Fox 26. It's no wonder the book has received so much buzz with a major focus on the unseen battle taking place in the heavenlies, Chronicles of Angels blends fact and fiction for a literary romp through one of humanity's most hotly debated topics. After a freak head injury, theology professor Donald Goodwin gains the ability to see the spiritual battle as it plays out all around us. Along with his atheist friend and beautiful colleague, he learns that his ability to see cross-dimensional planes plays an integral role in releasing Archangel Gabriel from a hellish captivity and back into battle. |

Author Credits Xulon with Strong Book Sales and Publicity
Jeanie Cline's Step into My Heart...and Back into Time is a compilation of fictional stories based on biblical teachings. The story, which takes place in the hills of Kennesaw, Georgia, and the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, received a fitting homecoming of sorts in Cline's native Lenoir, North Carolina, when the local newspaper published an interview with her. From there, Cline has been working nonstop to make her story a household name. Following a successful book signing at Wonderland Books, located near Lenoir, Cline has agreed to participate in two upcoming local book signings at Venti's Casa and Cornerstone Christian Bookstore. "I am very excited over the consistent book sales and publicity received from support of media coverage," says Cline. "I am diligently working on a second book, a Christian fiction novel. Thank you, Xulon Press, for all your support in making this possible!" |
