Recently, the author sat down with the co-hosts of the Canadian national program Full Circle to speak about the painful reality of her situation. While there, she opened up to the show's hosts about the inspiration behind the book, her reasons for writing it, and her desire to reach others experiencing this devastating condition.
"I began to read books about infertility, but many of them never really dealt with some of the real issues that are associated with this condition," she said in the interview. Author Features on One of Family Life Today's Best Programs of the Year
In his book, Out of the Depths, Marine survivor Edgar Harrell vividly describes his terrifying firsthand account of the sinking of the USS and the Navy cover-up that led to the bizarre court-martial and eventual exoneration of its captain. The book has already commanded attention from both readers and the media-recently, Family Life Today, a family ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, invited the author to Arkansas for a two and a half hour interview about his survival and the providence of God that brought him through those four and a half days of swimming with the sharks. "Then they divided the interview into four sections and broadcast the interview on more than 1,000 radio stations, on four Mondays in August," he says. "It proved to be rated one of their best programs of the years." In the same vein, the author-who travels all over the US telling his story-has nine events scheduled for this year. He also reports healthy sales of his book, saying that on average he is able to move about 20 copies a month.

Xulon Author's WGGH 110 AM Interview Draws Many Listeners
Whispers From My Heart is the tale of one woman's journey through the real world, where pain, confusion, disappointment, and despair are real, everyday occurrences. It is not a self-help book; it is a "God can help you" book that teaches the powerful that God is still in the business of delivering His people from bondage and leading them out of realms of captivity into their promised land. Cheryl Thompson, author of this powerful book, was interviewed about her work on Illinois' WGGH 1150 AM station in January. The program, which aired at 2 p.m. on two separate days, drew many listeners and allowed the author a platform to talk about this important and timely subject.
