Author Invited to Be a Guest on a WGRC Live Radio Show

In The Bridge, Xulon Press author Jackie Carpenter candidly shares with readers the account of her son Jason's high-profile murder trial and exoneration. Thus far, the author has been working proactively to promote her book—and her hard work has paid off in the form of interviews, reviews, and articles. She has received numerous five-star reviews on Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com from readers across the world—including Midwest Book Reviews' Richard R. Blake—many of whom are calling it "an inspiration," "a must-read," "compelling," and "fast-moving."

Her book was also recently featured on the I Love to Read blog. The author of the blog had this to say about the book: "This book taught me the importance of holding God's eternal and able hand throughout the ordeals of life... If there is any way you have the chance to read The Bridge, do read it. It's a prayerful book from a loving mother's heart."

Additionally, Feathered Quill Book Reviews' own Deb Fowler read a copy of the author's book, which she dubbed "a powerful story of an accidental death and the unwavering faith of a mother's love and belief in the Psalms." The reviewer went on to say, "If you want to hear about a 'miracle' and the effect the power of prayer can have on a family, you will be very interested in this mother's story!"

As a result of all the publicity, Carpenter was invited as a guest on WGRC's Matter at Hand live radio show in May and for a segment on TCT Alive in June. On both of these shows, she discussed her book and the reasons for writing it.

It has been more than three years since author Deborah K. FinleyÕs book, What Your Future Holds and What You Can Do to Change It, was released, and it's still going strong. The author was a guest recently on The Harvest Show, and her book recently made the top 100 list on Amazon.com's Best-Sellers. Since then, she has started a radio show titled WYFH—"What Your Future Holds"—on Blog Talk Radio, where she discusses with listeners the topics that her book covers, such as the power of letting go and the power of laughter, as well as how to be empowered, resulting in living in a higher realm of life.

"As a result of the radio show, I was invited to be interviewed on other radio shows," the author says. "All things are possible to those who believe, no matter what your circumstances are now or have been. Author Films TBN Segment on Xulon Book Published Three Years Ago

After writing his book, Uncovered Truth, three years ago, author Jim Peper says that not much was done to promote it. Unbeknownst to him, however, a woman from his church who had gotten hold of a copy of his book sent it to the Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) studio in Folcroft, Pennsylvania. The book, Peper explains, was then buried in the archive room under a bunch of things and forgotten about. "About two weeks ago, the production manager for TBN in Folcroft, Michal Curry, felt led to go into the archive room to look around," the author explains. "Michal said she knows this was a 'God thing' because she made it very clear she never goes into the archive room. As she was rummaging through the archives, she stumbled upon my little book and was intrigued by the title. She said she began to read it immediately and stated she could not put it down. She states that she knew immediately that she wanted to do a taped television interview about the book and my story." Curry invited the author and his wife to come and visit the studio beforehand, and after the visit she scheduled an interview, which took place in July. The interview went much better than he ever expected.

"For this to take place three years after the book was published and for this to happen in the way that it did is a reminder again that it is all about God's timing, not ours," he says. "For the book to go for three years with no recognition or publicity and then for this to take place so unexpectedly reminds me that it is also God's plan, and that plan will take place in His timing. Thank you, Xulon, for all of the help and guidance three years ago in helping me publish this book. We are so very excited about this incredible door that God has opened and we are grateful for Xulon and for TBN and Michal Curry."
