How Does It Work?

Let Xulon take the “headache” out of manuscript preparation and copyedit your book manuscript for you. This means we will interact with your manuscript on a purely technical, grammatical level—correcting some sentence or paragraph construction, correcting spelling, fixing typos and punctuation errors, and performing simple fact-checking (easily searchable on the Internet).

Note: Basic copyediting does not include Scripture or endnote checks, nor checking the accuracy of Greek, Hebrew, or any other foreign language text. Author is responsible for checking the accuracy of all Scripture verses, endnotes, and foreign language text before submission.

Don't worry! We won't change your style of writing or alter your content, ideas, or plot.

This is digital (electronic file) copyediting, with changes made and input by the editor. You will receive the corrected manuscript file in a Word document for your perusal, before submitting to Xulon Press.

How Long Does It Take?

Xulon Press will use reasonable efforts to return all copyedited manuscripts to the Author within 45 days of submission. Occasionally, more time may be needed, such as for manuscripts with 90,000-plus words or English as a Second Language (ESL) manuscripts. On a typical schedule, this means your book will be edited, published, and printable within 120 days.
