Editorial Diagnostic - $329.00

What are your book's strengths? Weaknesses? Would a reader be pulled in on page one-or drop out after a few paragraphs? Does the title grab a reader's attention? How can you improve your overall "takeaway" so that readers not only read your book but recommend it to others? When you choose this service, your book manuscript will receive a complete editorial evaluation, suggested title/subtitle, back-cover copy recommendations, and itemized strengths and weaknesses. Upon completion of this service, you will receive an Editorial Diagnostic Report providing an overall summary of your book's presentation, constructive comments to improve the manuscript, and a recommendation for further editorial services if needed to help improve the quality of your book. This service takes 1 week from the time we receive your manuscript.

Basic Copyediting - $0.025/per word

Your manuscript will be thoroughly reviewed by our editorial department to catch and correct any errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and syntax. Also includes light fact-checking (anything easily searchable on the Internet) but does not include Scripture checking. This service takes 3 to 4 weeks from the time we receive your manuscript.

Line Editing - $0.05/per word

Your manuscript will receive the basic copyediting service (described above) and a focus on sentence restructuring to help improve the readability of your work. The editor will tighten wordy or awkward sentences, render passive-voice sentences in active-voice where needed, improve word choices, and overall flow. For fiction the editor may advise on theme, characters, and the storyline itself. This service takes 4 to 6 weeks from the time we receive your manuscript.

Developmental Editing - $0.075/per word

Your manuscript will receive "the big picture" editorial service. The editor will provide feedback through-out your entire book giving recommendations, feedback and comment notes. Fictional books will review character, plot, dialog, integrity of the story, and the flow of the essential story. Nonfictional books will review the theme, writing style, and pace of the book. It is recommended you go through a Basic Copyediting after you receive the Development Editing service.
