Jana Tackett’s book Light the Fire ($16.49, paperback, 9781498481496; $8.99, e-book, 9781498483315), is available for purchase.

Light the Fire is about Jana Tackett, a country girl at heart, who grew up in a small, rural California farm town. After going on a blind date at the age of nineteen, she married a man who would eventually become a minister, a missionary, an entrepreneur, an RV enthusiast, and a real estate investor, exposing her to a totally different life outside of her San Joaquin Valley farming community. Jana knew her husband is the person God placed in her life, and he and their three adventurous sons have pushed her out of her tight-knit comfort zone in ways she never thought possible.

The central theme of Light the Fire is that our children must see our hearts set on fire for God, as we humbly serve Him each day. In Tackett’s life, God used her sons to draw her closer to Him and to teach her important lessons. Parenting is one of the most difficult jobs and yet it is the most important.

Jana Tackett shares her experiences in being a young wife and mother of three energetic boys. As a homeschooling family, Jana shares how she strived to give her sons a Christ-centered education, taking road trip excursions across the U.S. in their family RV, all while traveling to forty-eight states.
