Author
Cynthia M. Thompson inspires mentors to equip the next generation in Turning
Rocks Into Diamonds: A Guide to Leading Leaders Into The New Millennium ($11.49,
paperback, 9781629529639; $5.99, e-book, 9781629529646).
Many
leaders agree on the importance of mentoring and discipleship, but then get
frustrated when they don’t see the maturity they expect from their spiritual
sons and daughters. Pastor Thompson
delves into specifics such as: the beauty of spiritual leadership, special
tools for fledgling leaders, and being carriers of the signature scent of God’s
anointing. God’s love for his children never changes, so leaders who follow His
example will stick with their disciples as they turn from rocks into diamonds.
“Experienced
and new leaders can be inspired and built up for the journey ahead, reminded
that domestic ministry is the core of success (effective ministry begins at
home), and urged to stay true to their own anointing while rejoicing with
spiritual sons and daughters as they grow in their own gifts from the Holy
Spirit,” said Thompson.
Pastor
Cynthia M. Thompson was born in Leonardtown, MD and received the Lord Jesus as
her personal Savior at the age of 18. Later
in life, she accepted her call to ministry and has been serving in that calling
for the past 18 years. Alongside her
husband of 30 years, she co-founded To Tell the Truth Outreach and Deliverance
Ministries, which carries the mantra of reaching hearts while saving and
restoring lives. Thompson and her
husband, Bishop Rodney X. Thompson, share their son, Rodney, Jr., their
daughter, Keana, and daughter-in-law, Ebony.
