Since his education at Baptist Bible College, Larry Heidelberg has spent well over forty years studying and being intrigued by the messages found in the verses and images presented in the Book of Revelation. He wrote this book because of the large number of questions he had about this topic, knowing that others would also share in his concern for the future.
In this book, Heidelberg guides readers through the most common questions raised, the confusion, and context of this most prophetic book of Scriptures. He argues that God wants his followers to worship, not be confused; and that is why He promises a blessing. Through his studies, Heidelberg believes God has answered his most pressing questions regarding this text.
“The Book of Revelation is totally real, but must be seen through the lens of the eye of studying God,” said Heidelberg. “You will find different parts of the Old Testament seen more closely in my book. But all of God's Word is perfect and can never be contradictory of itself. The book of 'Revelation', though symbolic in many ways, is the capstone of God's lavish love letter to mankind.”
Larry A. Heidelberg is a semi-retired electrician who enjoys family get togethers, hunting, fishing and attending church services at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Girard, Ga. He loves God’s Holy Bible and people, and takes great pride in passing out tracts from his church. Heidelberg considers himself a common man that God has blessed in His Word. He comes from a “work with your hands” family and tries to keep life simple.
