Sometimes We Can't See the Reason Behind Our Trials Until We Know Who We Are

Xulon Press presents a testimony from the valedictorian of the School of Hard Knocks.

Author Christopher D. Craig, Sr. invites readers to share the roller coaster ride that is his life story in Road Trip to Redemption: Living in Darkness and Finding My Way Out ($15.49, paperback, 9781662865763; $6.99, e-book, 9781662865770).

Craig’s path to salvation was anything but straight.  He was, in turn, overweight and underachieving, longing to be noticed; a self-centered egotist who only made time for his own gratification; and religiously lost and broken.  Only after he discovered his true identity in Christ did he find his place in the world and begin to see the purpose of his journey.

I love talking about God and my faith. I enjoy sharing my testimony, which include[s] both the good and bad times, said Craig.

Christopher D. Craig, Sr. is a former adrenaline junky, international cruise ship performer, and recording artist. He found his faith in the midst of multiple serious health problems, some of which almost cost him his life. Craig enjoys being with his family, attending church, and listening to and writing music. He also collects law enforcement patches and challenge coins, all while sharing the love and grace of the Lord.  Craig lives in the New River Valley with his wife, Beth Ann, and his support animal, Marley.
