LONGWOOD, FL--In the courtrooms of our justice system, we are deemed innocent until proven guilty. This is the very foundation of our legal system. However, in the courtroom of public opinion, we are deemed guilty until proven innocent, due in no small part to a sensationalism-obsessed media. Guilty 'Til Proven Innocent ($17.99, paperback, 978-1-60647-832-5), a new release from Xulon Press author James C. Reynolds, is the true story of a man who was unjustly accused of owning a child pornography website. After he and his family suffered the embarrassment and humiliation of the media frenzy that followed his arrest, the ordeal ended more than two years later with the case's dismissal. This book tells how God delivered the man, helping him to retain his integrity and restore his reputation.

Says Reynolds, "Many people will believe a person is guilty of a crime simply because they read about it in the newspaper, heard it on the radio, or saw it on a news broadcast. Too often the damage incurred by the innocent person and their family is ignored. My story reveals the heartache, trauma, and emotional distress endured for over two years until the charges against me were totally dismissed."

Born in Athens, Georgia, Reynolds has long been involved with the ministry and has counseled people with emotional difficulties. "After my arrest, I investigated the Internet and the potential for identity theft through books on the subject," he says. "The opinions on the jail lifestyle came from observations and interviews with people essentially involved with prisoners. The section on pornography came from extensive study through books and the Internet."
