Maitland, FL— Within the gripping pages of Ted Roberts’ new release, Parables for Today, ($8.99, paperback, 978-0-97696-684-5; $15.99, hardcover, 978-0-97696-685-2) the author strives to help his readers grasp the reality and certainty of both a real eternal heaven and a real eternal hell. Roberts wants his readers to wake up from their slumber and have a better understanding of their personal calling and to be separate from the world as they aim to be the holy people God has called them to be.

“God’s grace is offered to the most defiled of sinner’s and can transform their life,” Roberts states. “Saving faith in Jesus Christ is the most important decision [any person] will ever make.” Most importantly, the author wants his book to serve as “a wake up call for Christians and non-Christians alike.”

Ted Roberts lives in Illinois with his wife, Sue. He maintains a transparency in his writing that allows his readers to feel as if they are holding a personal conversation between just them. Roberts makes no excuses and clearly states that he too has suffered from a sinful past, but that the Lord can heal and provide a way to move past the rough phases each person will face at some point in life. The author’s main teaching tactic is to push people out of their comfort zone, which in the long run, produces a harvest of righteousness and peace to all who follow the Lord.
