One of the main characters, Vicky, is a young girl with a very special gift,
who is being hunted by a pair of kidnappers. The other main character, an adult
named Cara, feels stuck in life—but God doesn't leave her in emptiness. As soon
she is done praying, hope comes knocking at her door.

At seventeen, Aimee-Lynn Johnson was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome.
