Author Greg Manalli presents readers with a fascinating perspective of a Christian’s responsibility in Of One Spirit ($14.49, paperback, 9781662852435; $6.99, e-book, 9781662852442).
Manalli’s thought-provoking book addresses the prayer of Jesus, that all Christians be “one” just as He and the Father are one, and not only one, but perfect or complete and mature in this oneness, as stated in scripture John 17:21,23. As Manalli explains to readers, the answer to this prayer came to Paul, the apostle, as it was revealed to him that all are one body, and every believer has been baptized into this one body of Christ, as stated in scripture 1 Corinthians 12:13. In addition, the Holy Spirit has made all Christians one and all are considered of one Spirit.
With that explained, Manalli encourages readers to understand that in order to allow for all the ministries to do their parts, the body will need to have meetings so everyone can be equipped by the ascension ministries and meetings for the members to minister to one another in love and build each other up. He strongly believes that in this season, many estranged members will become reconciled to one another and to congregations. He concludes that much needed healing will take place and members will cross denominational lines to be united in the oneness and function in proximity to one another. City churches can then develop as the ultimate understanding that all are of one Spirit increases.
When asked what inspired the author to write this book, Manalli said, “The Lord has put this subject on my heart for decades.”
Greg Manalli received a degree in psychology from Lake Forest College. He ran his own insurance business which supported him in the early years of ministry. Greg has traveled the world strengthening churches and leaders and continues this day equipping the saints to build up the body of Christ so it may reach its maturity. He also works towards raising up the next generation. Manalli and his wife Andrea have been married for 60 years, parents of two sons and four grandchildren. In addition to his passion for God and His works being fulfilled, Manalli also enjoys reading, sharing long talks and vacationing with his wife at the ocean.
