This book tells the story of how each of five generations of the Reader family were faced with deep challenges as each established a family and a home. The family story begins in 1847 with the life of a humble boot maker named John Reeder who left Germany and came to the United States. The family story continues for four more generations, consisting of the lives of Frederick Reader(I), Peter Paul Reader, Frederick Reinhard Reader and ends with the life of Fredrick David Reader, the great-great-grandson of John Reader.
Dr. Fredrick Reader holds a Bachelor’s degree from Greenville College (ILL.), a Masters degree from Indiana University, and a Doctorate from Trinity College and the University of Liverpool, England.
Dr. Reader’s previous books have dealt with both spiritual and historical matters.
