In The Bullying Effect, Mark Bishop, a bookish high school senior, must come to terms with
feelings of revenge and retribution against a bully he has known since
childhood, high school classmate and jock Brad
McFee. In September 1988, at the Lancaster High
School Homecoming Game, Mark musters up enough courage to provide Brad
with the comeuppance he feels Brad deserves. This act sets off a chain of
events that will affect Mark's senior year of high school, especially his
relationship with first-time love Heather
Harker.
