With the mainstay theme of God’s faithful presence in the life of every believer, this is a story of following God’s voice, even when I didn’t know where I was going or how or when. I have shared some rather difficult circumstances that He has led me through, even when I struggled to even acknowledge certain areas of sin and didn’t even know how to turn it over to God. My story is unique, as is yours. It is beautiful and unusual and even today I can only stand amazed at where I am today, and how I am today-something that truly could have only come from the orchestration of God. And He never makes mistakes.

Christina Miyano is living overseas with her husband, Taka, as independent missionaries. They have been living in Cambodia since 2006. Her life is mainly focused on homeschooling their three children: Lin, Senoka and Masato, while serving Gateway: 1) by teaching and discipling the children within their care and 2) interpersonal communication and translation/language skills. Though she has dabbled with poetry and has some published works under her maiden name (Christina Gayle Mathis), this is her first published manuscript.
