The Right Reverend Robert David Redmile is the Second Lord Bishop of the Diocese of Richmond, the first and founding Diocese of the Christian Episcopal Church of Canada. Bishop Redmile was ordained to the Priesthood in 1993, consecrated Bishop in 2002, and enthroned as Lord Bishop of Richmond in 2004 by the Most Reverend Archibald Donald Davies. Archbishop Davies was successively Fourth Bishop of Dallas, First Bishop of Fort Worth, and Bishop Ordinary of the Convocation of American Churches in Europe of the Episcopal Church. Archbishop Davies was elected First Bishop of Richmond in 1990, and served also as Primate and Metropolitan of the Christian Episcopal Church of Canada until his death in 2011. Bishop Redmile succeeded Archbishop Davies upon his retirement in 2004, and continues to serve God in the capacity of Bishop Ordinary of the Diocese of Richmond and Representative of the Primate and Metropolitan of the Church in Canada.
