JAMES E WHITWORTH WAS BORN ON 12/8/58, IN FREDRICK, OKLAHOMA. HE HAS LIVED IN CENTRAL FLORIDA SINCE HE WAS SIX YEARS OLD EXCEPT FOR A FEW YEARS IN THE MOUNTAINS OF WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA. JAMES HAS ALWAYS WRITTEN POETRY BUT, IT WASN’T UNTIL HE WAS SERIOUSLY BURNED IN 1989 THAT HIS POETRY REALLY GOT CREATIVE AND HAVE MEANING. HIS POETRY CAME FROM THE FIRE, HIS PAIN AND HIS SCARS. IN TIME JIM STARTED TO WRITE ABOUT LOVE, THE ENVIRONMENT, THE ANIMALS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY GOD. HE WAS STARTING TO HEAL BUT HIS POETRY HAD JUST BEGUN. JIM IS NOW A COMMITTED CHRISTIAN AND LOVES TO GO SURFING WHENEVER HE CAN. WHETHER IT’S HIKING THE MOUNTAINS OR SURFING THE WAVES AS A LOVING CHRISTIAN MOST OF HIS WORKS ARE NOW DEVOTED TO HIS LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.
