Incarceration for the inmate means incarceration for the family as well.
This book is written for inmates and family members incarcerated to give them HOPE that there is a future.
It is organized with the mother writing her experience and the father’s letters to his son along with Noah who was incarcerated writing a few comments.
Noah’s mom and dad and family members experienced incarceration in their lives very unexpectedly. As they supported Noah with letters, calls, and visits, they observed the loneliness of many inmates who had no outside contact with family. They grieved for these inmates who seemed abandoned with little hope for what lay ahead. The main reason for writing is to express a gratitude to God for not abandoning a person no matter where they are and to encourage a sense of community in families incarcerated. Only with God could we begin to grow with this experience and acceptance of the future for all our family members.
This book is nonfiction. This really happened to Noah and his family.
