Issues of the Heart is a collection of short essays with scriptural insights to relate to everyday life, and are primarily from my own life experiences.
Do you like to fish? Many times life is like fishing, and two of the stories speak to this. Ever gone out of your comfort zone? Encounter a message or “messenger” that you perceived was from God? What kind of “soil” were you planted in? Ever been asked to preside over the funeral for someone dear to you?
These stories may make you smile, laugh, reflect, and even cry a little. Perhaps they can be applied to your own life, finding a common experience to your challenges and trials, and become an encouragement to you.
See the author’s heart as he experiences unexpected brain surgery, marrying off three daughters, and a painful death in his family, sharing life analogies in a transparent way.
