The BaTwa — original inhabitants of sub-Saharan Africa and the largest line of Pygmies in the DRC — make up a quarter of the population of Equateur Province, yet they are in great need. “These people are small of size but not small of stature. They have an aptitude for God that causes them to be large in stature…They once knew God intimately.” Ranked lowly, usually mistreated, and downtrodden now Father God comes for them intentionally.
