She woke up out of bed with an uneasy feeling inside, something that she has never felt before. You see her days had been filled with worry, fear, unease, loudness, disarray, hopelessness, and even lack of faith but she was so tired of that feeling that she had to do something about it or she miles well dig herself in a deeper sink hole and disappear into the oblivion. Knowing God had a greater purpose for her, she decided to sit in a quiet and still room, close her eyes and breath in but without any motion she couldn’t exhale.  Is that one of the many reasons why she couldn’t move on and forward with God’s greater purpose?  Is it her lack of exhaling, releasing all her cares to God that is keeping her from what she is really meant to do? Her life was going through so much that she wasn’t sure of anything anymore, but the only things at the time was she was sure of was the voice in her head was from God and He was saying, “Bind them on your fingers, write them upon the tablet of thine heart.” (Proverbs 7:3) All she could is repeat what she had just heard over and over again, she apparently wasn’t understanding what God was saying to her.  After a 30 long minutes, she finally figured it out. “Write them upon thine tablet of thine heart.” She knew what she needed to do now. It was a light bulb ever so brightly shining above her head, but this wasn’t just any ordinary light bulb, this was a supernatural light bulb of God. All she could do at that very moment was become filled with joy, giggles, easiness, anticipation and determination. She felt so blessed! She hadn’t felt this in so very long time, and it was an Extra-Ordinary Godly feeling that was overcoming her. She hit the “On” button on her old computer, turned her music on very low, got her favorite drink and began to type “Dear God”. She knew God wasn’t physical but was ever so much more around her and He would be with her every step of the way. She believed by typing these letters that she would become closer than she ever had become before. She felt ready to receive that bond that was forever missing and that she had never had with her biological father whom she had never met, but was ready to become adopted from her spiritual father. Something out of the ordinary was going to happen to her and though she might get backlash from others, she truly didn’t care. She needed that puzzle to finally become complete and God was that missing piece in her life.
Loving the thought and feeling of writing she decided to write a journal, though not the same as a normal “Dear Journal, my day has been, wish my day can be” type of journal. It would become so much more. Instead, she writes a letter going directly to God, and knowing that the physical paper wouldn’t ever get delivered to Him didn’t matter because God knows in advanced what she was going to write, matter fact, He has been waiting for her to type this letter for quite some time now.  Now it just needs to begin! Ignoring the fact that she has been going through deep intense times and knows that right now speaking prayers has been difficult, that writing to God in a letter is just what needs to happen to become full of “Revive” in her life. The world around her has become so full of ups and downs that she thought of writing everyday and forever but she believed at that moment  it wasn’t planned. 30 days of writing to God is showing her concerns, insecurities, hopes & dreams, desires and even failures of her life talking directly to God. At times when her mind would say things like, “Why start it like a normal letter?” and  “Who truly cares?” Well, the answer came clear, God does. God is the reason for what she does. Through these letters written to God, she sees her negativities but as she writes down through her journey, she begins to see her positive attributes, she sees that God has placed that seed in her, to begin to grow, and became so much stronger  as it blossomed.  With all she wanted to do is “REVIVE” for God.
