It was a constant she heard through her childhood years; “you’re worthless, no one loves you, you’re a child of the devil,” spoken from the lips of her own mother
Those words alone would lead anyone to question their worth in the eyes of anyone, especially God. However, author Sylvia Daniel knew when she accepted Jesus into her heart at age 15 that she was in for a new definition of love from her Heavenly Father.

Besides bestowing advice to assist readers in strengthening their relationship with God through His word, Sylvia also shares aspects of her testimony that reflect her growth from a young child who felt unloved to a “born-again” child loved by God. What the devil meant for bad God transformed into good.
The Mouth of God inspires readers to grasp the truths of the Bible with both hands and allow the path to Jesus to be one of definition and redemption.
We have to take our own journeys with the Lord. Growing, trusting, missing it, blowing it, crawling, walking and running until we reach the finish line. I don’t know about you but I am so glad that the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong…but time and chance happens to them all (Eccles. 9:11).
