A SECOND CHANCE is about Rae Elliott, a young mid-western girl, in the late 1950
Sharion Gamble was born and raised in the Columbia, South Carolina area. She has one son and was blessed with two grandchildren. Her first grandchild, Jesse, was hit and killed by a drunk driver. She now enjoys the love of her second grandchild, Cheyenne, and spending time with her son Joey. People have been her main focus in life. Reading and writing are her passion. A SECOND CHANCE was actually written twenty-two years ago and placed in a bottom dresser drawer. This story started when she dreamed of an argument between a young man and his mother. The author had heard that writing things down would make them go away. Instead, it expanded into the story you hold in your hands. During the writing, she began to see aspects of her life in this young lady’s struggles and victories.
