This is the first in a series of 3 books. These books were written to help everyone understand what it truly means to be “a Christian”. Is there really any difference between Christians and non-Christians? In today’s day and age, it would appear to be really difficult to point out one from the other as they walk by. Yes, many Christians have been deceived or even deceive themselves. How do we really understand and get right with God?
This book, Christian “Defined”, outlines, identifies, and explores what it really means to be a Christian, and in such a way that it does make a difference; a difference that is truly apparent to others.
The author, Gerald Furniss, is first and foremost a Christian. His curiosity and desire to understand things precisely led him to a degree in engineering from Purdue University. He has likewise applied these traits to his lifelong struggle with deep questions about the meaning of life and how religion tries to answer that question. In trying to perfect his search, he has “wondered” through the beliefs, disciplines, customs, and traditions of many of the “christian” pedigrees and denominations. He has even looked at some of the other types of religions and “ways” used to help direct people in their individual lives. Hear his insight.
