"Read ACTS BY E-MAIL and you will discover the delightfully creative writing of Martha Hook. This book peels back the layers of quaint, small-town living to reveal unexpected psychological and spiritual tensions. It will certainly prompt you to contemplate how life is not always as it appears. Expect to have your own emotions stirred as you watch how the characters come to terms with unusual events."
-Les Carter, Ph.D.
therapist, author, and speaker

"Fasten your seat belts for a great read. This story is both profound and insightful, and is what good storytelling is all about. I loved finding the twists of lemon in ACTS BY E-MAIL."
-LetaFae Arnold, M.Ed., M.A.
assoc. professor of English, LeTourneau University, ret.

"Having spent thirty-six years as a pastor, I find Martha Hook's story intriguing, yet almost too close for comfort. As we read about daily episodes of pastoral life, Martha gives us a heartwarming glimpse into the glass house of the ministry. For entertaining reading, I can highly recommend ACTS BY E-MAIL."
-Lewis Abbott
pastor and ministry consultant

"Martha Hook is a gifted writer and storyteller. With homespun warmth, she makes you smile, wince, gasp, and grow with Rev. Wayne Latimer and the charming people he shepherds. If you're a Mitford enthusiast, be prepared to fall in love with ACTS BY E-MAIL."
-Kathy Peel
author and president of Family Manager Inc.
