Overcoming the Attack of the Jezebel Spirit identifies the characteristics and reveals the strategy behind the Jezebelic attack on the church, undetected and sometimes ignored. The purpose of the book is to bring a heightened awareness to this deceptive, effective attack and provide a strategy to overcome and recover from the attack.
The assignment and purpose of the attack is exposed. Learning how to identify its nature as well as where the enemy plants seeds of destruction is necessary to effectively defeat the attack.
Overcoming the attack is contingent upon the church being willing to embrace God's design to establish a trustworthy structure and vision. The key for experiencing the benefits of the structure and vision is our willingness to die to self.
This book provides a strategy given by God, guaranteed to be successful. With this understanding we can effectively stop and overcome the Jezebelic attack.
Don Richter has served as an area and regional representative for Elim Fellowship International. He was instrumental in the founding of Mid-Hudson Christian Church in Wallkill, New York, and served as senior pastor for twenty-two years. By God's design he was called out of his role as a local pastor to minister to the need many young pastors and leaders have for a father in the faith.
Don is founder and director of Harvest Preparation International Ministries, an apostolic ministry network established in Africa and Mexico. He has helped plant churches in the United States and Mexico. He ministers to thousands of pastors and leaders each year in Cuba, Mexico, Ukraine, Russia, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Haiti, Guatemala, and the United States.
Don has been married to his wife, best friend, and fellow worker, Lois, since 1957. They have three wonderful sons, Chip, Jeff, and Matt, and have been blessed with five amazing grandchildren, Ben, Jenna, Megan, Brittany, and Austin. Their home and ministry office is in Sarasota, Florida.
