Every believer has a purpose that has been specifically created
for their lives. The wilderness journey is designed as a
training ground for crossing into that purpose. But so often we get
HUNG... STRUCK in the wilderness somewhere between the Red
Sea and the Jordan River. Stuck somewhere between the issues, the
problems, and the power of our past, and the purpose, the calling,
and the election of our future.
Today, so many in the church are living in the wilderness. With an
entire generation standing in the balance, and a need for spiritual
direction, we stand in a place where we have grown content and
complacent, unable to move and in a place of no purpose. But the
wind of God's Spirit is beginning to blow. Complacency is turning
into a fresh hunger for goals, and contentment is turning into a
yearning for something more, something better, something with a
pursuit of purpose.

Pastor Giovannetti and his wife Cathy of twenty-seven years reside
in Morris Illinois. They have a married son Joshua stationed in
Fort Lewis, Washington, presently serving in Iraq and have three
granddaughters.
