Ginger Schievelbein is a first time author who grew up in a typical Christian home. At the age of fifteen, she encountered God and received the gift of discernment of spirits. Since she did not fully understand the gift, she kept it a secret for ten years. Gradually, she began to share some of her spiritual experiences with the adults and children under her ministry. Ten years later, God asked her to step down from those responsibilities so that He could send more people to her for personal prayer and deliverance. This ministry has grown, and recently she became an ordained minister. She and her husband reside in Texas where she homeschools their two teenagers.
