The ABC Animal Adventures is a storybook for children of all ages. It is a fun read, while effectively teaching great lessons about exploring possibilities, having discipline and treating others well. It is also a learning tool to reinforce the recognition of the letters of the alphabet through repetition. The book is compiled of twenty-six delightful stories. Each story represents one letter of the alphabet. The author uses a succession of words with the same letter to weave a whimsical tale that will ignite the imagination of the child while they are learning the alphabet.
GeGe (Sylvia) Hensel began her writing career at the age of seventy-one by entering Faithwriter’s weekly competition. Within five submissions she advanced three levels, and won the “Editor’s Choice Award” and her story appeared in their magazine. The ABC Animal Adventures is her first children’s book. She has also written a Christian devotional, “From the Heart of a Woman,” which was published in 2011 under the name of Sylvia Hensel.
She is an avid reader, loves writing, and is involved in many church activities. Her greatest joy is spending time with her family.
