Dr. Marvin Timothy Smith has served as Senior Pastor of the Mt. Olive Institutional Baptist Church of Saginaw, Michigan for nearly 25 years. Dr. Smith has degrees from: Southern University A & M College, Vanderbilt Divinity School, and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Dr. Smith has lectured on the following topics: Parables, Homiletics, Hermeneutics, Creative Ways of Communicating the Bible, Leadership, and Christian Ethics, to name a few. Dr. Smith is married to the lovely Omie Anderson-Smith and they are the proud parents of three children: Marcelle, Marche’ and MaKenzie, one daughter in law, Jennifer and two grandsons-Josiah Timothy and Jabari Trevelle. Dr. Smith’s purpose is to relentlessly communicate the love of God, unselfishly share his gifts, and passionately inspire people to help others.
