It is estimated that half of all women have or will experience sexual trauma at some time in their lifetime. Victims of trauma carry the emotion of that trauma with them. While many times the victims do not remember the act itself, they find themselves acting out irrational emotions later in life when a similar event triggers the feeling, which can destroy present relationships and marriages.
Dr. Judith recounts her teenage trauma, her troubled marriage, her becoming a successful mental health therapist and her successful marriage. It offers spiritual help intertwined with proven mental therapies to complete the recovery of herself and her readers.
“No one would have believed that someday I would be Dr. Judith.”
