Michael Oliver James III and his wife Jackie went off to college together to get a fresh start on a new life. Leaving their hometown troubles and friends behind, they were hoping and expecting it would be for good. After raising four children, retiring from teaching and looking forward to grand parenting, there is only one thing Mike has never accomplished in all his success - going back home to face his greatest fear.
Sitting in the school’s parking lot waiting on more of his classmates to arrive for the class reunion he began to wonder, “Why am I here, why did I even bother coming at all?” His fear causes his hands to shake, his head to sweat and his body to flow with anxiety. Panic stricken, he closes his eyes and covers them with his hands and takes a deep breath to compose himself only to find when he opens his eyes he has been transported back to a time of nose bleeds, headaches, and humiliations orchestrated by his greatest nemeses… Craig Daniel’s.

J. Lew is a minister, speaker, teacher, writer, mentor to both young and old, and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Living just outside Austin, TX, he first earned an Associate degree in Business Administration from Austin Community College and then his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Management from Texas State University. J Lew’s inspiration for Rock, Paper, Scissors comes from his not-so-fun memories of the early years of his youth when he would hide after school to avoid a boy that started picking on him in the first grade. No, he didn’t wear big rimmed glasses and he didn’t wear his belt as a breast plate, but being the shortest and the skinniest kid in the class wasn’t a big help.
