Beverly Ligon was born and raised in Apopka, Florida. After graduating from high school, she went to cosmetology school and obtained a license in Cosmetology. She went on to earn an AA degree in General Studies and then a BA in Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Beverly started writing in the year 2000, but was inspired to start publishing her work after the passing of her mother. Beverly currently resides in the Orlando area with her husband and works in the school system.
