ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Sandy Moore lives on an Indiana farm with her husband, Mike, where she cares for a dog named Doodle, a cat named, Millie and two horses, Sadie and Gray. She is a mother and grandmother. 
Moore is a retired feature writer for a local Midwestern newspaper where she created a children’s feature each week complete with an original story, games and puzzles. 
Moore has volunteered her services to children’s ministries at her church including a puppet ministry and an after-school ministry entitled DIVE. 
She taught the “Too Good for Drugs” program for all second and third grade students in the county where she resides. It was in this position, she realized that today’s children have great needs and have much to overcome. 
Children, Sadie, Millie and Doodle have been a very important part of her life.
Moore first children’s novel, Sadie’s Search for Home, was published in October of 2016. Doodle’s Search for Success is her most recent children’s novel which is about a dog who is looking for his destiny.
Moore is a firm believer that God can lead everyone of us to our destiny and it is there where we find joy, peace and true contentment.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Larry Gosser is an Indiana native residing in New Castle with his wife, Cindy. Drawing at a very young age, he was inspired by cartoons and his favorite comic book artists.
Among Larry’s diverse portfolio, you will find historic buildings, cars, courtroom drawings, and children’s books. He has done promotional artwork for the Sherlock Holmes Peterson Pipes of Dublin, Ireland, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Indianapolis 500 race car drivers. He was also the creator and cartoonist for a licensed Classic Popeye the Sailor art print series.
Former Art Director for the Indiana Department of Child Services, Larry now works out of his home office and enjoys spending time with his grandsons, Chaz and Lars.
