Christian parents face a real dilemma today. The theory of evolution is taught in the science books used throughout the public school systems in the United States, but according to the Bible God is the creator of the universe and all that is in it, including mankind. Our children and youth are being bombarded with a theory that is being taught as truth, and God is being taken out of the picture completely. What can Christian parents do? Dr. Barbara Castro is currently the Dean of the School of Christian Education at Life Christian University in Lutz, Florida. She also works in the curriculum department and teaches theology courses. She is a graduate of Florida Southern College where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology and spent many years teaching science courses to middle and high school students. She earned both her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Christian Education from Life Christian University. She also attended Rhema Bible Training Center for a year and is a graduate of Victory Bible Institute in Tulsa, OK.
