Abuse was something Kathy commonly experienced at home, first with her immediate family. The abuse was at first physical, mental, and emotional, but later moved into sexual abuse with her alcoholic stepfather and other men molesting her, while her mother refused to believe it was happening.
She escaped this home life when she turned 21 and later married her loving husband Mike, whom she credits as helping her heal from the trauma she experienced. Kathy also dealt with the misguided opening into the devil’s playground when a medium disguised as a “lady minister” of a spiritualist church encouraged meditation sessions and psychic readings with Kathy that brought into her demonic forces.
As Kathy opened herself to God and allowed forgiveness to flow from her to those who harmed her, she realized God also showed her the need to remove the spirit of Jezebel from her life and the lives of her family.
Abused to Blessed offers readers a powerful testimony on how to heal from life’s painful hurts and shows that with God, your past does not have to dictate your future.
Kathy Jennings lives with her husband of 33 years. She is an amazing wife and mother who loves spending time with her family, cooking big meals and traveling the country. They have two grown children, and she secretly is looking forward to being a grandmother.
She spends her time either studying God’s Word or on assignment for the Lord, where she works helping others all over to know God better and or recover from an abusive past. Kathy is a KCM partner and is an E-member of Eagle Mountain International Church.
