For those who may have been puzzled and baffled by numerous misinterpretations, Dr. Morey's Guide to Understanding Revelation is an exciting and insightful exposition of the Message of Revelation.
The theme of the entire Bible is the Reign of God that is promised and prepared for in the Old Testament, inaugurated in the Four Gospels, proclaimed in Acts, explicated and applied in the Letters, and visualized and dramatized in Revelation. The central message is: "The Lord Our God Omnipotent Reigns!"
Revelation has been and is the strength of the persecuted, the comfort of the bereaved, and the wellspring of worship, as well as the inspiration of much magnificent music, poetry, and art. Its primary purpose, however, is pastoral and evangelistic, proclaiming the sure and certain Christian hope, and appealing to those in the kingdom of darkness to enter the Kingdom of Light.

Earl Wesley Morey a dynamic Bible interpreter and evangelist, is committed to the renewal of Christian leaders and churches in the power of the Holy Spirit. He has been involved in an international, trans-denominational, cross-cultural ministry for thirty years. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and called to the ministry while in high school, he earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Western Maryland College, and an M.Div. in Biblical Theology and a Ph.D. in Historical Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary. Ordained in 1948 as a minister of the Gospel by the United Presbyterian Church, Dr. Morey has served as Pastor of three congregations. Dr. Morey and his wife, Betty, were married in 1948. They have been blessed with two daughters, a son, fourteen grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. They presently reside in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
