These poems are an expression of the author's walk with the Lord. A ministry in Bible teaching and missions was interrupted by twenty-three years of anger with God. There is therefore a break of many years in the writing of the poems, most of which were written since November 1999 following his being restored to the Lord.
David Peckham, born and raised in England, currently resides in Chelan, Washington, with his wife Katie. He was born during World War II as Nazi bombs destroyed neighboring houses. At seventeen years of age, David entered the Lord's work with the Church Army in London.
After serving as a pastor, Bible teacher, and missionary, he rebelled and spent twenty-three years angry with God for what he calls "low blows from God." The Lord wonderfully restored David to Himself in 1999, and he now spends his time writing both fiction and non-fiction, which includes a weekly Internet ministry (Thoughts from the Word).
