In Part I, the author guides the reader through a study of the scriptures and determines that the Universal Church is out of order since the Fivefold Ministry is not in place and the Gifts of the Spirit are not flowing in the local church as they should. The Offices of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, and Teacher have not received the attention that they should and have not been developed in the church. The Office of Pastor has been elevated to the extent that local churches have developed into "Pastoral Empires."
In Part II, the author discusses the Gifts of the Spirit and gives examples of the gifts in operation in the Bible and in modern times.
In Part III, the author discusses the Fivefold Ministry Gifts and outlines which Gifts of the Spirit typically operate in the various Ministry Offices.
DON MADDOX earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Business Administration before getting saved in 1981. In 1982, Don started serving God in a local church and served there in various lay positions for seventeen years. In 1985, he received a Bible School Degree from Word of Faith in Dallas, Texas. While serving God at the local church, Don was called to the Fivefold Ministry Office of Prophet.
In the winter of 1998, God pulled Don aside for special prayer for direction for the call of God on his life. God revealed to him that the Church is out of order since the Fivefold Ministry Gifts are not in place.
In 2001, Don Founded Vanguard Ministries Inc. and is prophet and president of that organization. The ministry is in its infancy, poised and ready to take its position in these last days.
