Vanessa Stirling was born in Brooklyn, New York. She lived in Harlem, New York, during her early years in the 1960s, then moved to The Bronx and lived there for over twenty-five years. She moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in 1991.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Education and a Master of Science degree in Education from The City University of New York in 1981 and 1987.
Vanessa converted to Christianity in 1975 when she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior into her life. She was ordained in 2002 as a minister and wants to share this truth with others through her testimony and as an effective witness for Christ.
