Cooking with the Holy Spirit was inspired by an outpouring of and encounter with the Holy Spirit in author Dawn Ezelle's life. Why are people filled with the Holy Spirit? Rev. Dawn Ezelle worked as a therapist for ten years and owned three businesses. Business and financial losses put Dawn on her knees before God. She received a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit and a calling for ministry.Obeying God, Dawn spend three days inside a log cabin chapel where she received a vision from God. Following the 9-11 disaster, she traveled with medical missionaries internationally. Dawn worked as a co-pastor, community outreach volunteer, evangelist, and youth minister. Again, she faced more unexpected adversities, challenges, and restoration in her life. Today, she teaches meetings known as "Living Life, Again." She believes everyone can discover a "new life" with Jesus Christ.
Dawn graduated from Christian Leadership University with a BA in theology and is completing her PhD. She is ordained with UCM International. In addition to writing books and serving in ministry, Dawn travels extensively preaching and teaching. She lives in Ohio with her Siamese cat, Joshua.
